Sonia El Sakka

Sonia El Sakka has extensive experience in the field of information and communications technology, currently serving as the ICT and Marketing Regional Coordinator at The International Civil Aviation Organization since August 1996. Prior to this role, Sonia worked as a System Engineer at the League of Arab States from August 1993 to August 1996, managing the installation and configuration of the Arab League ICT Unit while leading process design teams and implementing reengineered business processes. Earlier, Sonia was also a System Engineer at IBM from June 1990 to August 1993, where responsibilities included implementing ERP solutions and providing support to manufacturing sector clients. Sonia holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and an MBA in Information Technology, Strategic Marketing, and Project Management from The American University in Cairo.
