Quentin Shaw is a specialist dams engineer with over 34 years of experience, currently serving as the Vice President of ICOLD Africa Zone. Quentin has expertise in Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) and arch dams, with a focus on design, materials, construction supervision, and instrumentation. Quentin holds a PhD in RCC and has unique capabilities in RCC arch dams. Quentin has led numerous dam design projects and completed 34 new dams and 12 major rehabilitation/raising projects.
