Betty Wong

Betty Wong, Ph.D., currently serves as the Manager of Strategy & Business Development at Delfi Diagnostics since May 2022, previously holding the position of Market Intelligence Manager. Prior to this role, Betty was the Commercial Planning & Analytics Manager at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp., where market research and competitive intelligence were utilized to shape product strategies for the T-Detect diagnostics platform, alongside commercial analytics for the clonoSEQ MRD business. Betty also worked as a Scientific Advisor & Patent Practitioner at Perkins Coie LLP, developing strategic patent portfolios across various industries, and co-founded AstroGro, a company focused on STEM education and sustainable food production technologies. Early research experience includes engineering bacteria for biofuel synthesis at the Joint BioEnergy Institute and conducting epidemiological research on schistosomiasis at UC Berkeley's School of Public Health. Betty holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics from Caltech, a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Caltech, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
