James Thomas is a seasoned professional in content management and editing, currently serving as Senior Content Manager at the International Compliance Association since January 2022. With a long-standing association with inCOMPLIANCE as Editor since 2010, James also has extensive experience as a freelance journalist from 2005 to January 2022. Previous editorial roles include Editor at Compliance Monthly and various editor positions at LexisNexis from 2000 to 2006, including roles related to taxation and pensions. Academically, James holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and two Master of Science (MSc) degrees in Science and Technology Policy and Climate Change and Policy from the University of Sussex, as well as a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Exeter.
