Daniela Drandic

Head Of Advocacy And Communications at International Confederation of Midwives (ICM)

Daniela Drandic currently serves as the Head of Advocacy and Communications at the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) since August 2022 and has been with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia as a Facility Evaluator for the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative since April 2016, in addition to being a member of the Ministerial Working Group for the same initiative. As the Head of the Reproductive Rights Advocacy Program at udruga RODA Roditelji u akciji, Daniela advocates for comprehensive reproductive and sexual health rights. Daniela is also a Board Member of the global NGO Human Rights in Childbirth, contributing to organizational development and policy advocacy. Daniela’s previous experience includes work with UNICEF Croatia on the Baby and Mother Friendly Hospital Initiative and owning a translation services business. Daniela holds a Master's degree in Maternal and Infant Health from the University of Dundee and an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto.
