Lia Brigante

Lia Brigante is an experienced midwifery professional currently serving as a Board Member for Europe at the International Confederation of Midwives and a Consultant with the World Health Organization. With a strong academic background, Lia holds a Master of Science in Implementation and Improvement Science from King's College London and a Master's degree in Reproductive and Sexual Health Counselling, among other qualifications. Lia's professional journey includes roles as a Professional Policy Advisor for The Royal College of Midwives and a Consultant Midwife focused on public health at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. Lia has also contributed to academia as a Visiting Research Fellow at King's College London and a Guest Lecturer at the University of Florence. Additional experience includes infant massage instruction and aquanatal teaching, underscoring Lia's commitment to supporting women's health and family well-being.
