David Rowell

David Rowell is a Senior Editor at the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) since February 2023. Prior to this role, David served as Deputy Editor of The Washington Post Magazine from 1999 to January 2022. David also held a position as an Adjunct Professor at American University in 2005-2006, where instruction focused on Literary Journalism within the MFA Department. Earlier in David's career, the role of Editor at DoubleTake Magazine was fulfilled from September 1997 to September 1999. David holds a degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earned between 1985 and 1989.
