Pieter Visser

Pieter Visser is an experienced freelance investigative journalist with a career spanning over two decades. Currently associated with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists since 2010, Pieter also operates as a self-employed journalist, collaborating primarily with The Local and Der Spiegel. Previous roles include investigative journalist positions at Correct!v from 2006 to 2009, ABC News from 2002 to 2006, and journalist at the New York Post from 1997 to 1999. Pieter holds a Master of Journalism in Investigative Journalism from UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism and a Bachelor's degree with a double major in Journalism and Sociology from New York University.
