P.eng Chris Patten

Vice President Operations - Industrial Construction at INTERNATIONAL COOLING TOWER

Chris Patten, P.Eng has over 10 years of experience in various engineering and construction roles. Chris most recently served as the Vice President of Operations - Industrial Construction at International Cooling Tower Inc. (ICT) starting in October 2017. Prior to that, from September 2016 to July 2017, they were the Vice President - Operations at SRS Industrial. During their time at SRS Industrial, Patten also held the role of Senior Project Manager from November 2011 to August 2016, where they successfully executed complex construction projects. Chris also worked as a Manager at SRS Industrial from June 2008 to November 2011, where they helped expand corporate offerings and provided project and construction management support. Before joining SRS Industrial, they worked at Kiewit as a Construction Engineer, performing various functions such as estimating, field engineering, cost engineering, and contract management. Patten started their career at ExxonMobil as a Reservoir Engineer in 2004.

Chris Patten, P.Eng, holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Chris also obtained a degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the same university. In 2013, they obtained the P.Eng certification from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). Additionally, they have additional certifications in API 570 from the American Petroleum Institute and as a Welding Engineer, CSA W47.1 from the CWB Group.
