Diana Pardue is currently the President of the Disaster Resilience Museums Committee at ICOM and holds various executive positions in the organization. With a long history of working in museums, Diana is also the Chief of the Museum Services Division at the Statue of Liberty NM and Ellis Island under the National Park Service. Additionally, Diana has served as a Board Member at the Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums. Diana's educational background includes Centre College and the University of Kentucky.

ICOM is the international organisation of museums and museum professionals which is committed to the conservation, continuation and communication to society of the world's natural and cultural heritage, present and future, tangible and intangible. Created in 1946, ICOM is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) maintaining formal relations with UNESCO and having a consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
