Daiga Barone has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Daiga first worked at Swedbank as a Customer Services Specialist, where they provided customer service, consulted clients, and managed transactions. Daiga then joined ELKO Group as an Office Manager and later became the Human Resources and Administration Director. In this role, they implemented HR practices, managed training programs, and built relationships with HR professionals across multiple sales offices. After that, they worked at Clean R as the Human Resources and Administration Director, focusing on improving organizational capability through strategic advice and change implementation. Daiga then took a sabbatical leave, during which they moved to the Netherlands, worked on personal development, learned Dutch, and expanded their professional network. Currently, they are working at the International Criminal Court as the Talent Acquisition Team Lead, where they advise on organizational development and change management initiatives.

Daiga Barone holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Latvijas Universitate, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. Daiga further pursued their education at the same university and completed a Master's degree in Psychology from 2005 to 2007. In 1999, Daiga Barone also studied at Latvijas Universitate as a psychology teacher. In 2020, they attended INSEAD and the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) for short-term courses in design thinking, creativity in business, innovation strategy, and UN leadership in times of uncertainty. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Chartered Fellow from CIPD, Change Management Foundation from APMG International, and Communicating for Influence and Impact from the University of Cambridge in 2020 and 2021.
