Michael Nieminen

Michael Nieminen has a diverse work experience in various industries. Michael currently serves as the CEO of International Cybernetics (ICC), where they oversee the provision of pavement test equipment and turn-key services. Prior to this, they worked as a Partner at Delmar Capital. Michael also held the position of President and COO at Quality Underwriting Services Ltd., where they successfully transformed the paramedical experience for clients and achieved significant financial growth. Additionally, they served as the Director of Technology Development and Director of Operations, Data Services at Fugro Roadware, leading product strategy and driving process change. At Roadware Group Inc., they held roles such as Manager, Business Process Re-engineering and Project Manager, contributing to the redevelopment of software and managing data collection projects. Lastly, they began their career as a Controls Engineer at MDA Space Missions, honing technical and problem-solving skills.

Michael Nieminen attended the University of Waterloo from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Michael later pursued a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois Springfield, which they completed in 2018. In addition to their formal education, Michael has obtained various certifications, including being a Professional Engineer (PE) from Professional Engineers Ontario in 2005, an International Professional Engineer (IntPE) / APEC Engineer from Engineers Canada | Ingénieurs Canada in 2020, and a Professional Engineer (PE) from the Nevada State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in 2021.
