John D. Simmons has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. John D. started their career in the US Army in 2002, serving as a Platoon Leader/TF Commander until 2004. John D. then moved on to the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), where they served as a Captain from 2005 to 2008. Following this, they joined the Special Operations Command Europe as a Captain from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they transitioned to the civilian sector and became the President of Centerville Winsupply until 2014. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at Express Pipe & Supply, first as the Director of Business Development and then as the President and General Manager. John D. further expanded their expertise by working as the Vice President at Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions from 2019 to 2021. Currently, John holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Construction Resources, LLC. since 2021 and will continue this role at International Designs Group (IDG) from 2023.
John D. Simmons attended Virginia Military Institute, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. John D. then went on to study Economics at the University of Oxford.
