John Kang

John Kang, CFA, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. John is currently serving as the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at International Designs Group (IDG), where they oversee financial planning and analysis functions. Prior to IDG, John was the Director of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis at BlueLinx Corporation, providing financial advice to the Board of Directors. John also held the role of Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Veritiv Corporation, Rock-Tenn Company, and CSM Bakery Supplies North America, where they had responsibilities such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Before that, they served as a Director at Unisource Worldwide, Inc., handling financial planning and analysis for different business units. Early in their career, they worked as a Finance Associate at GenOn Energy and as a Production Supervisor and Process Engineer at Intel Corporation. John's experience is marked by their expertise in financial analysis, strategic planning, and leadership in the field of finance.

John Kang, CFA holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance and Operations Management from MIT Sloan School of Management. John also possesses a Master's degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution. In addition, they have obtained the certification of CFA from the CFA Institute in 2003.
