OVERVIEW

The Posner Center for International Development is seeking a dynamic and strategic Communications Manager to enhance our visibility, strengthen our brand, and foster tenant engagement. This role is pivotal in managing both external and internal communications, ensuring that our mission and the achievements of our tenant organizations are effectively communicated to stakeholders, partners, and the wider community. The Communications Manager will report directly to the Executive Director (or the Building Manager in their absence). This position requires working 4 days per week in the office and ensuring 5 days per week of building coverage between the building director and the communications/community manager position.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

  1. Maintain positive, clear, and direct communications with the Posner Community, including Posner Center Tenants, Members, Staff, and visitors.
  2. Support the Mission of the Posner Center by expanding the visibility of the Posner Center, facilitating collaboration among members, and amplifying the overall voice of the Posner Center community.
  3. Support the Posner Center Team in ensuring safe, effective, and efficient Community Management. Serving as the community concierge and being available to support the needs of the Posner Center Tenants and Members during business hours.
