David Schutz

David Schutz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development, production, writing, and education. Since October 2013, David has held multiple roles at iDE, currently serving as Director of Global Business Development, focusing on securing funding for the Global WASH department and supporting country directors in marketing efforts. Prior experience includes producing the documentary "Copper," which examines addiction and street economies in Denver, as well as quality assurance and editing at 3Play Media. David has also worked as a freelance production and art assistant, and as a writer for various publications. In academia, David has taught anthropology courses at the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design and served as a graduate teaching assistant at Colorado State University, emphasizing critical thinking and research skills. David holds a Master's degree in Anthropology-International Development from Colorado State University and a Bachelor's degree in Technical Journalism from the same institution.
