Deepak D. Khadka

Deepak D. Khadka is an experienced development professional currently serving as the Vice President for Asia at iDE (International Development Enterprises) since August 2013, where the focus is on empowering entrepreneurs in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Nepal, and Vietnam to combat poverty through simple and affordable technologies. Previously, Deepak held the position of Country Director for iDE in Bangladesh and served as CEO and Co-Founder of Samriddha Pahad, a startup connecting private investors with rural communities in Nepal. Additionally, Deepak has worked as the Head of Programme for Markets and Livelihoods at Practical Action, along with previous roles including Deputy Team Leader for the BDS MaPS Project at IDE Nepal and Marketing Manager at Population Services International's Nepal Office. Deepak holds an MBA in Marketing from Kathmandu University School of Management and a degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
