Ebisa Gashu

Ebisa Gashu serves as the Program Director at iDE (International Development Enterprises) since January 2023, focusing on Market System Development to enhance the livelihoods of smallholders in Ethiopia using a human-centered development approach. Prior to this role, Gashu held various positions, including Program Director at Caritas Switzerland (CACH) and Senior Program Advisor at ActionAid Ethiopia, where responsibilities included managing food security projects and providing technical support at multiple levels. Other notable positions include Program and Field Office Manager at IIRR and Livelihood Adviser at Action For Development, with extensive experience in project management, proposal development, and stakeholder coordination. Gashu holds an MSc in Development Studies with a specialization in Rural Development and BA degrees in Community Development from Hawassa University and EAC.
