Erin Mercado is a Special Projects Consultant at iDE (International Development Enterprises) since October 2020, coordinating the menstrual health program in Ethiopia and advising on participatory evaluation processes to promote gender equity and social inclusion. Erin previously served as a Graduate WASH Intern, focusing on fecal sludge management and youth sanitation research. As a Global Sustainability Scholar Fellow, Erin analyzed qualitative data to develop a local food policy plan for Wilmington, Delaware. Prior experience includes serving as a Healthy Schools Coordinator with the Peace Corps and leadership roles at the University of Colorado Boulder. Erin holds a Master of Environmental Management in Global Sustainability from Western Colorado University and a degree in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
