Zerihun Melaku

Zerihun Melaku is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and agricultural development. Currently serving as a Program Manager at the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (AJJDC) since September 2020, Zerihun leads project oversight, agronomic implementation, and coordination with field partners in Ethiopia and Israel while managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements. Prior to AJJDC, Zerihun held roles at iDE, including Agriculture & Knowledge Management Officer and Project Team Leader, where the focus was on project lifecycle management, budgeting, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement. Previous experience includes serving as Operations Officer at Feed the Children International and holding a diploma in General Agriculture from Jima University, a BA in Community Development and Leadership from Ethiopia Adventist University, and an MSc in Rural Development from Hawassa University.
