Afua Owusu

Afua Owusu is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications and Events Manager at International Development Group LLC since December 2022. Prior to this role, Afua held the position of Senior Digital Associate at DAI from June 2021 to November 2022 and co-owned Pleasant Pops Cafe & Market between September 2019 and January 2022. Earlier experience includes being the Operations and Communications Associate at the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Maryland Chapter from June 2018 to July 2019 and working as a Communications Intern at the Association of Public Health Laboratories from January 2017 to May 2018. Afua Owusu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Science from the University of Maryland, having also studied at Howard Community College.
