John McArthur

John serves as a Senior Fellow at The Brookings Institution and as a Senior Advisor on Sustainable Development to the United Nations Foundation. He previously served as CEO of Millennium Promise Alliance; as faculty member at Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs; and as Manager and Deputy Director of the United Nations Millennium Project. John has a PhD in economics from the University of Oxford and a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University.
