Bethany Wearden

Bethany Wearden is a seasoned professional in the documentary film sector with extensive experience in fiscal sponsorship, storytelling advocacy, and program management. Currently serving as the Fiscal Sponsorship Manager at the International Documentary Association since February 2024, Bethany previously held key positions at Define American, where roles included Director and Associate Director of Storyteller Support and Advocacy. With prior experience as Curator and Moderator at Filmosophy, and Public and Campus Program Specialist at USC Pacific Asia Museum, Bethany's expertise also extends to programming at the Sundance Institute and production management at little plow films. Bethany holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film/TV/Radio from Biola University.
