Colin Arp

Colin Arp was born and raised in the greater Los Angeles area and has always had a deep love of all things storytelling. He began his early career in writing, but with an additional hobby in amateur photography, it was inevitable that he eventually found his way into filmmaking. Throughout his time studying for an undergraduate degree from Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, Colin learned and actively practiced nearly every aspect of the filmmaking process, from camera and production sound to art direction and editing, as well as producing and directing two successful Documentary shorts. After nearly seven years and a variety of narrative and commercial positions, Colin now works as a coordinator for the International Documentary Association.
