Ian Wellman

Ian Wellman has extensive experience in production sound and has worked as an intern at the International Documentary Association and Displaced Films since 2013, alongside ongoing work as a dishwasher at Intelligentsia Coffee & Tea. Starting in 2009, Ian has freelanced as a Production Sound Mixer, Boom Operator, and Utility on various documentaries and short films. Additionally, Ian served as a Production Sound Mixer for Doubleblind in 2013 and gained valuable experience as part-time staff in the Location Sound Office at Columbia College Chicago from 2011 to 2012, assisting with equipment management and student support. Ian holds a degree from Columbia College Chicago, earned between 2007 and 2011.
