Grace is a Fellow of the Farm Management Association of Nigeria (FAMAN) which, is affiliated with the African Farm Management Association (AFMA) and the International Farm Management Association (IFMA). She trained as an Agricultural Economist and is an experienced Banker. She qualified in Agricultural Economics at the University of Ibadan in Nigeria with a B.Sc in 1978 and an M.Sc in 1980. She also holds a Masters's Degree in Banking and Finance.
She worked for the Central Bank of Nigeria from 1981 to 2008, carrying out numerous research and consulting projects for the Bank, other National Government Organisations, and International bodies in various areas, spanning the disciplines of finance, economics, and agriculture. She is the author of over fifty publications. She retired from the Central Bank of Nigeria, as an Assistant Director in the Development Finance Department.
After her voluntary retirement from the services of the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2008, she returned to the University of Ibadan to complete her Doctor of Philosophy Programme in Agricultural Economics, with an emphasis on Financing of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Nigeria. She is now a full-time member of the Faculty in the Department of Finance, School of Business, of the College of Business and Social Sciences, Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria, where she is bringing her industry experience to bear in her teaching and research work.
She is widely traveled and has participated in IFMA congresses since 1993. She is very active in various professional associations and was elected President of, the African Farm Management Association in 2004, a Council Member of, the International Farm Management Association (representing West and Central Africa) in 2006, and a Fellow of, the Farm Management Association of Nigeria in 2009.
