Eugenia Kovatcheva is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in the field of information technology and education. Currently serving as an invited member of the Scientific Council at the Israeli Association for Ethics in Artificial Intelligence, Eugenia has also held positions as a professor, associate professor, and research policy director at the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies since 2013. Eugenia's expertise is further recognized through roles as an expert with the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) and as an editorial board member for the Journal Mathematics and Informatics. Previous professional engagements include significant contributions to various international educational summits and research roles at multiple institutions, alongside a solid academic background with a PhD in Computer Science and multiple advanced degrees in mathematics and telematics applications in education.
