Stephanie Whited is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in nonprofit and organizational communications. Currently serving as Senior Manager, Communications at IFAC since March 2021, Stephanie leads initiatives for the public sector, professional accountants in business, and Islamic Finance, while collaborating with client leads and executives on cross-platform campaigns. Previous roles include Communications Director at The Tor Project, where Stephanie directed communications for a nonprofit focused on privacy and censorship tools, and Communications Lead at The Engine Room, where strategic communications across projects were prioritized. Additional experience includes serving as Head of Communications at HURIDOCS, directing communications and marketing at Schools That Can, and holding administrative roles in various organizations. Stephanie holds a BA in Psychology with a minor in Fine Arts from New York University and has pursued further training at the Stella Adler Studio.
