Aleksandar Panic is a seasoned professional in disaster management and operational development with extensive experience in the humanitarian sector. Currently serving as the Development Operations Coordinator at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies since July 2024, Aleksandar previously held significant positions including Head of Office and Program Manager at Deutsches Rotes Kreuz e.V. from June 2021 to June 2024, and Disaster Preparedness and Response Coordinator at the Red Cross Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina from August 2019 to June 2021. Additionally, a freelance consultant from August 2011 to January 2021, Aleksandar provided expertise in water treatment, logistics, environmental protection, and information management. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Water Technology, specialist studies in Environmental Engineering Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
