Gopal Mukherjee is an experienced program coordinator with a strong background in health and social work. Currently serving as a Program Coordinator at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies since May 2017, Gopal provides support to the Philippine Red Cross for long-term development programs, including COVID-19 response initiatives. Previous roles include program coordination for East Asia Red Cross organizations, health program management for the Philippine Red Cross, and operational coordination for Handicap International in Afghanistan. Gopal’s earlier experience spans program management and technical support for health initiatives across multiple organizations, including FHI 360 and CARE, focusing on various health and social issues. Gopal holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Delhi University and an Executive MBA from the National Institute of Business Management.
