Vonnie Estes

Vonnie Estes has a diverse work experience in innovation, consulting, biotech, and board memberships. Vonnie is currently the Vice President of Innovation at the International Fresh Produce Association and serves on the Board of Directors for Kula Bio, Stony Creek Colors, and Creatus Biosciences Inc. In the past, they were a consultant at Estes Consulting, where they specialized in commercializing new technologies and innovations in the fields of gene editing, indoor agriculture, plant genetics, and more. Vonnie has held positions on the External Advisory Board of Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator (IN2), the Board of Directors for Microvi Biotech Inc. and Zymergen, and as the Managing Director - US at GranBio, where they led business development efforts and established collaborations for biorefinery development.

Vonnie Estes completed a Master's degree in Plant Pathology at the University of California, Davis from 1984 to 1986. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Horticulture from New Mexico State University.
