Jahan Chowdhury

Jahan Chowdhury is an accomplished expert in partnership development and resource mobilization, currently serving as the Chief Partnership Officer for Replenishment at the International Fund for Agricultural Development since June 2022. Prior roles include Global Lead for Environment and Climate at McKinsey & Company and Associate Partner at Vivid Economics. Jahan has extensive experience in strategic leadership, demonstrated through positions such as the Board Member and Chair of the Investment Committee for the Rwanda Green Fund, and Director of Country Engagement for the NDC Partnership, overseeing a team across 75 countries. Jahan's past contributions also include advisory roles with the Green Climate Fund and the Global Green Growth Institute, as well as leadership in establishing Rwanda's first Climate Change and Environment Fund with over US$ 60 million in capitalization. Jahan holds a Master of Philosophy in Development Studies from the University of Oxford.
