Mara Albanese

Mara Albanese is a finance professional with extensive experience in the international development sector. Currently serving as a Consultant in the Payments and Payroll Unit at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) since August 2019, Mara has previously held positions such as Finance Analyst and Consultant in the Financial Controller's Division. Prior to IFAD, Mara worked at the International Development Law Organization (IDLO) as a Regional Program Accountant and Program Accountant, and gained auditing experience at EY. Academic credentials include a Postgraduate degree in Accounting and Business Management and an Undergraduate degree in Accounting and Company Law from Luiss Guido Carli University, along with a diploma in International Public Sector Accounting Standards from CIPFA. Additional educational background includes attendance at the University of Exeter.
