Marc de Sousa-Shields serves as the Country Director for India and Head of the Multi Country Office at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), a role commenced in September 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing a USD 750 million investment portfolio focused on enhancing the sustainability of smallholder farmers and food systems across India and neighboring countries.
