Cathy Harris

Cathy Harris has extensive experience in English language education, currently serving as a CELTA tutor and Speaking Examiner for official English Language exams at International House Madrid since October 2004. Additional roles at the institution include English Language Teacher, Professional Development Coordinator, Assistant Director of Studies, and Senior Teacher for Young Learners. Prior to this, Cathy worked as a Mentor & Trainer for Macmillan Training Services at Macmillan Education Iberia in early 2013 and as an English Language Teacher at Duoc UC from July 2001 to July 2003. Cathy's early career includes a position as an English Language Assistant at IES San Juan Bautista from October 1999 to June 2000. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) in French and Hispanic Studies from Queen's University Belfast and studies at Université Stendhal Grenoble 3 in 1999.
