Busingye Richard

Busingye Richard is an experienced finance and operations professional with a strong background in project management support and financial oversight. Currently serving as Finance and Operations Manager at International IDEA since November 2011, Busingye provides comprehensive financial and operational supervision to project managers and programme directors under the Regional Director’s guidance. Previous roles include Project Financial Officer at International IDEA and Programme Administrative and Accountant at the Intergovernmental Authority on Development. Busingye's earlier experience encompasses positions such as Programme Accountant at Aga Khan Foundation, Finance and Monitoring Officer at Uganda Water and Sanitation NGO Network, and Senior Accountant at Kalebu Ltd. Busingye holds an MBA from Bradford University, an ACCA Affiliate status, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Makerere University.
