Gabriel Bergel

Gabriel Bergel serves as the CEO and Chief Security Advenger at Mantis since July 2025, while also holding the position of Presidente at Fundación de Ciberseguridad 8.8, dedicated to promoting inclusive cyber security education. Additional roles include Program Committee Member for Kaspersky's Security Analyst Summit, Co-Chairperson of the Latin American Advisory Council for (ISC)², and Director at Fundación Nativo Digital, focusing on democratizing digital knowledge. Gabriel is the Cofounder and CEO of 8.8 Computer Security Conference, and has previously held key roles at VulnScope and Kyndryl. Educational credentials include a Postgraduate Degree in Data Protection from Universidad de Chile and multiple certifications in cybersecurity and management, along with a degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Andres Bello.
