Linda Martins is a marketing and communications expert with over 20 years of experience in the corporate world. Linda is currently the VP Marketing & Communications for Canada at International Institute of Marketing Professionals. Prior to this, they were the Head of North American Marketing at FGF Brands, and before that, the Director of Marketing, Americas at E&J Gallo Winery. Linda has also taught Global Marketing as an MBA instructor at Wilfrid Laurier University, and they have held various other marketing positions at Schering Plough and Becton Dickinson. In their role as a Leadership Team Development Coach, Linda helps organizations achieve their desired results by coaching teams and leaders to take their behavior and performance to the next level. Linda is also the Chair of TEC Canada.
Linda Martins has a degree from Western University in Commerce and Administration from 1985-1988. Linda also has a degree from Wilfrid Laurier University from 2009-2010. Linda has an MBA in Marketing from Schulich School of Business - York University from 1990-1995. Linda is also a Team Coach Practitioner in Complex Adaptive Systems and a High Perfromance Teams coach. Linda is certified by the Global Team Coaching Institute (GTCI) and the Proctor Gallagher Institute. Linda is also a member of the Forbes Coaches Council.

WHO WE ARE: International Institute of Marketing Professionals (IIMP®) is an independent not-for-profit professional organization which develops and advocates international standards within the marketing field. IIMP® was formed in July 2009 and is a pioneer in its leadership and strategic approach towards developing the Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards (IAMST) based upon Generally Accepted Marketing Principles and Practices in the field of marketing. The development of Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards is led by the Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards (IAMST) Board which represents the G-20 countries; the IAMS Board members include senior academic leaders from reputable business schools and Chief Marketing Officers from major corporations across the G-20 countries. The IAMS Board works with the aid and cooperation of teams from the International Advisory Council for the Marketing Profession (IACMP) which has representation from 192 countries and Advisory Council of Marketing Practitioners (ACMP). The International Institute of Marketing Professionals is in the process of developing Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards in the public interests that are of high-quality, practical, enforceable and comprehensive. The primary purpose of the Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards is to provide credibility to marketing practices in order to facilitate interaction and transactions with clients within business-to-business and/or business-to-consumer marketing environments. WHAT WE DO: The International Institute of Marketing Professionals (IIMP®) is devoted to executing the following four goals: 1. Publishing the International Journal of Marketing Principles and Practices - IJMPP, a high quality scholarly publication of leading and innovative information in the areas of marketing, targeted at promoting the development and dissemination of advances in the field by maintaining the highest standards of intellectual thought combined with practical relevance. 2. Publishing the Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards - IAMS based upon Generally Accepted Marketing Principles and practices which will contain a description of generally accepted practices in the field of marketing and will set the criteria for IIMP® marketing management designations. 3. Certified Marketing Management Professional (CMMP®) designations: - Associate CMMP® (Certified Marketing Management Professional) - Manager CMMP® (Certified Marketing Management Professional) - Executive CMMP® (Certified Marketing Management Professional) - Chartered CMMP® (Certified Marketing Management Professional) 4. The establishment of relationships with marketing associations and the development of IIMP® Chapters around the world, in order to promote the Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards (IAMS) and IIMP® marketing designations. 5. The recognition and accreditation of training centres internationally, in order to provide an educational foundation for the Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards (IAM Standards) and IIMP® marketing designations. 6. Arranging and participating in major marketing conferences and establishing extensive award program in order to appreciate outstanding accomplishments of the marketing practitioners and academician globally. OUR FOCUS: IIMP® is dedicated towards working within an ethical framework that encompasses integrity, professionalism and excellence. These are the foundational building blocks that add value to IIMP® designations and its membership program. Individuals who have achieved specific qualifications through their education and work experience in the marketing field will be able to obtain an IIMP® designation. The International Institute of Marketing Professionals aims to accredit training centres on a worldwide basis in order to provide for its members a higher standard of quality and focused training to be utilized in the professional realm.
