Alisa Blackwood

Alisa Blackwood is currently the Communications Manager at International Institute of Minnesota. In addition, Alisa is the Founder of Life in Story, a company that creates audio heirlooms to preserve personal, family, and event stories. Prior to these roles, Alisa worked as a Freelance Writer & Editor for various publications, including O, The Oprah Magazine and Health. Alisa has experience as a Special Event Coordinator & Writer/Editor at YOXO, an Associate Editor at Time Inc., and as a Newswoman at The Associated Press. Alisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University Bloomington.
