Doug Strangfeld

Doug Strangfeld has a diverse and extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Doug has held various roles and positions throughout their career, demonstrating their expertise and leadership skills. Starting in 1980, Doug worked as a Production Test Flight pilot at Cessna Aircraft Company before moving on to become the Vice President of Maintenance at International Jet Aviation Services from 1982 to 1994. Following this, they worked as the Chief Pilot at Sunward Trucking from 1995 to 2011. In 1999, Doug joined Rockford Manufacturing as the Vice President of Manufacturing, responsible for managing and purchasing inventory in two production facilities. Concurrently, they served as the President of Aero Trans International from 2011, specializing in aircraft sales, acquisition, and consulting. Currently, Doug is the Chief Operating Officer at International Jet Aviation Services, having also served as the Director of Operations and Assistant Director of Operations for the company. Doug Strangfeld attended Redstone College from 1979 to 1981, where they obtained an FAA Airframe & Power Plant Rating. In 1981, they enrolled at Wichita State University and pursued a field of study in Aero Space Engineering. Doug'seducation continued from 1986 to 1999 at Metropolitan State University of Denver, during which they focused on Aviation Management. In terms of additional certifications, Doug obtained an A&P Airframe & Power Plant from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in December 1980. Doug also earned an IA Inspection Authorization from the FAA in November 1982, followed by a DAR Designated Airworthiness Representative certification in May 1985. Doug further secured an ATP Airline Transport Pilot certificate, an LRJet Type Rating, and a CDL Commercial Drivers License in June 1995 and June 1998, respectively.
