Moez Bashir is a Clinical Research Associate at UT Southwestern Medical Center since February 2024. In addition to this role, Moez has been serving as the Director of Communications and Public Relations and as an Editor for the International Journal of Medical Students since February 2022, overseeing the journal's mission and publishing necessary corrections and critiques. Moez also contributes as a Reviewer for BMC Medical Education, focusing on research related to healthcare professional training. Active in volunteer work with Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières since January 2023, Moez previously worked as a Behavior Technician at Centria Autism, applying evidence-based interventions for individuals with autism. Leadership experience includes serving as President of the Khartoum Medical Students' Association and the KMSA Debates Club. Moez obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Khartoum in September 2022, following a high school education at Mohammed Sayed Haj High School.

The International Journal of Medical Students (IJMS) is an online peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal (ISSN 2076-6327), created to share the scientific production and experiences of medical students worldwide. Our objective is to be the primary diffusion organ for medical students, using standards that accredit the process of scientific publication.
