Saif Islam

Saif Islam is a Senior Programme Officer at the International Labour Organization, where responsibilities include the design and administration of strategic programming in youth employment, green jobs, and skills development. Previous experience includes serving as a National Program Officer for Generation Unlimited, managing the implementation of national strategies in collaboration with various stakeholders. Saif also held the position of Business Development Advisor at CARE Bangladesh, focusing on new business development and proposal writing, alongside extensive experience as Coordinator and Acting Head of Private Sector Engagement at CARE Bangladesh, where efforts concentrated on inclusive market systems and financial inclusion. Education includes a Master's degree in Sustainability Studies from the University of Sydney and a Certificate Course in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School Online, complemented by a Bachelor of Business Administration from BRAC University and a foundation in Computer Science from McGill University.
