Tom Vierus is a seasoned photographer and filmmaker specializing in conservation storytelling, environmental photojournalism, and sustainable tourism promotion. Currently based in Fiji, Vierus contributes to Nature Picture Library and serves as Director, Photographer, and Filmmaker with Pacific Media House. As an Emerging League Fellow with the International League of Conservation Photographers, Vierus also operates Tom Vierus Photography & Film, offering freelance services globally. Notable recent projects include creating video and photography portfolios for the World Health Organization, The World Bank, and WWF-Pacific, emphasizing climate change and biodiversity. Vierus holds a Master of Science in Aquatic Tropical Marine Ecology from the University of Bremen and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
