Dr Marcin Kaczmarski

Dr. Marcin Kaczmarski is a distinguished academic in the field of Security Studies, currently serving as a Lecturer at the University of Glasgow since November 2018 and as the IMSISS Programme Director since July 2020. With experience as an Assistant Professor at the University of Warsaw from September 2007 to August 2022, Dr. Kaczmarski has also contributed to academia as a Visiting Scholar at both the American University of Central Asia and Aberystwyth University in 2013 and 2012, respectively. Prior to these roles, Dr. Kaczmarski was a Research Fellow in the Russian Department at the Centre for Eastern Studies from September 2006 to September 2012. Educationally, Dr. Kaczmarski holds a PhD in Political Science and an MA in International Relations, both earned at the University of Warsaw.
