Tony Poynter

Tony Poynter has an extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Tony began their career in 1983 as an Inventory Control Coordinator at The Wholesale Club, where they provided business requirements and implemented systems for warehouse and distribution facilities. Tony then worked as a Store Systems Manager at Auto Source, managing the lifecycle of store systems and prioritizing development efforts.

In 1995, Tony served as a General Manager at Media Play, where they were responsible for starting up and managing a large entertainment superstore. Tony conducted demographic analysis, devised floor layouts, and hired and trained staff.

From 1996 to 2005, Tony worked at Competitive Advantage, Inc. as a Project Manager and Business Analyst. Tony conducted business systems analysis, managed projects, and provided industry research and benchmarking for automotive aftermarket systems.

Tony joined ADESA in 2005 as an IT Manager, specializing in Business Intelligence. Tony managed multiple BI projects, maintained data warehouses, and supported analytical and operational reporting.

At Fiserv Output Solutions, Tony served as a Project Manager, implementing prepaid financial card programs.

From 2011 to 2013, Tony worked as a Business Intelligence Technical Team Lead at ITT Educational Services, Inc. Tony played a key role in data extraction, data warehousing, and reporting.

Tony then advanced to roles of Application Development Manager and Director of Enterprise Applications at ITT Educational Services, Inc.

Most recently, Tony worked at International Medical Group (IMG) as a Director of Decision Support & Analytics and later as a Director of EPMO (Enterprise Project Management Office).

Throughout their career, Tony has demonstrated expertise in project management, business analysis, system implementation, and data analytics.

Tony Poynter attended Howe High School, although the years of attendance are unknown. Following high school, they enrolled at Wabash College from 1982 to 1985, where they pursued a liberal arts degree. After completing their studies at Wabash College, Tony Poynter went on to attend Indiana University Bloomington from 1985 to 1987. During their time there, they studied business, psychology, and graphic design, although they did not obtain a degree.
