Joy de Vera

Joy De Vera is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in communications and technology, currently serving as a Senior Communications Officer at the International Monetary Fund since August 2005. In this role, Joy leads the development and implementation of digital and marketing strategies to support the IMF's communication objectives, having established the organization’s social media program. Prior to this, Joy worked as an Information Technology Officer, where responsibilities included evaluating emerging technologies and managing significant technology rollouts. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant at Aquent, a Systems Analyst at MSX International, and a Technical Assistant to President Fidel V. Ramos. Joy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, majoring in Computer Applications from De La Salle University, and furthered education at Columbia University.
