Earlier experience includes serving as a Legal Officer at the Special Court for Sierra Leone and project management roles at Geopolicity, along with legal positions in private practice and international tribunals. Kathleen Kao holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Plan II Honors from the same university.
