Philip Stokoe

Philip Stokoe is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in government finance statistics, currently serving as a Senior Economist at the International Monetary Fund since October 2013. Previously, Philip held the position of Head of National Accounts Classification at the Office for National Statistics from October 2009 to October 2013, where responsibilities included classification decisions for the UK national accounts. Additional roles include Regeneration Consultant at GVA Property Consultancy and Economist at Arup. Philip began a notable career in consultancy as a Senior Consultant at PS Consultants and Training Services Ltd before pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Lancaster University, completing the degree in 1998.
