Purva Khera

Purva Khera is an experienced economist currently employed at the International Monetary Fund since September 2015. Prior to this role, Purva held several academic and professional positions, including PhD student in Economics and Graduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Cambridge from October 2011 to August 2015. Purva's experience includes internships at the Asian Development Bank and multiple roles at the International Monetary Fund, where responsibilities ranged from projects officer to summer intern. Additionally, Purva contributed as a researcher at the Indian Ministry of Finance and completed a summer internship at KPMG. Purva Khera's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics, a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Economics Research, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Honours in Economics Tripos, all obtained from the University of Cambridge, along with an earlier Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Honours in Economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.
