Randa Elnagar

Randa Elnagar is a Senior Media Officer and Team Lead for the Communications for the Strategy and Policy Review Department at the International Monetary Fund, a position held since May 2007. Elnagar oversees communications strategies, manages media relations for Egypt and Pakistan, and directs the IMF Annual Meetings Communications team, focusing on enhancing the visibility and understanding of the IMF's global initiatives. Previously, Elnagar worked as an External Relations Officer and Assistant Editor for the IMF Morning Press, responsible for global media monitoring and analysis. Elnagar's earlier experience includes roles in property management and public relations with Prentiss Real Estate Partners and Abercrombie & Kent, respectively, and a sales coordination position at Semiramis InterContinental Cairo. Elnagar holds a Master's degree in Strategic Public Relations from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The American University in Cairo.
